Necessity really is the mother of invention. During a time of serious financial difficulty, a dear friend suggested to me that I make some peanut brittle and go sell it. Fortunately for me and my family, the idea worked and paid off. The rest, as they say, is history. A lot of quality family time has been spent working together with my three children at Street festivals, craft fairs, and Market Day events across Central Texas. Through the changing years, one thing that has been constant is brittle. Lorilee’s Gourmet has grown into a true family business, I still do most of the cooking, while daughter, Wanda is director of sales, and daughter, Candice does the bookkeeping and much of the product development. We all wear multiple hats in this company and are willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done. Thankfully, customers just can’t seem to get enough.
We are so very grateful to our loyal friends and customers that we've met along this journey. We thank you for your patronage, and look forward to serving you for many years to come.
I say with confidence that you won’t find better brittle anywhere but be careful, I hear it’s habit forming. Don’t say I didn't warn you.
